Menteroda Recycling GmbH is re-cultivating a waste dump from potash mining. The waste dump is at the highest elevation in the Unstrut-Hainich district. Suitable waste is accepted for re-cultivation of the 65 hectare site and the company also runs a biological soil remediation plant there.
